(M4F or M4M) GF cancelled, so who wants to go to Aruba? Free.
Hey guys, my girlfriend just broke up with me, but not before I could book us plane tickets and timeshares for 3 weeks in Aruba. May 26th through June 18th are the dates, and you can come for any of them. I have 1000 square foot one bedroom condos in Marriott Ocean Club Marriott Surf Club And Marriott's Renaissance Resort (with its own private island) May 26th - June 10th, you don't have to pay airfare if you can get to Flint, MI, I have that ticket for my girlfriend, and I should be able to change the name. If you want to go any other time for any length of time from May 26th through June 18th, you will have to pay for your own airfare. I booked this all beforehand for my girlfriend so you don't have to pay at all. I already bought everything. If you want to meet me before deciding to go, if you're close, I can meet you. You may be wondering why I am asking you.
First and foremost: all of my friends are complete losers and are scared to leave the country. I've already asked them.
Second: the ones who aren't cannot go for legitimate reasons, like small children, or they are out on business.
Third: Why the fuck not?
I am desperate, and need company in Aruba. It will be fun. EDIT: Apparently, this wasn't obvious, but I am serious. I really am offering a free (if you can get to Flint and I can get the name changed) trip to Aruba.
Going to Aruba in March for honeymoon -- need suggestions!
My fiance and I just booked our honeymoon to Aruba for March 11-March 17 -- I already booked a reservation at the Kitchen Table (Fred's has no openings but I did inquire about whether or not they have a wait list) -- what else should we plan on doing while there? We are an active couple that loves food and he is scuba certified (I do not plan on being scuba certified before the trip but will happily sit in a boat if he goes on a scuba adventure). We are staying at the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino (we booked with Marriott points and it was significantly less expensive than the Stellaris property).
[Award Advice] Booking hotel in Aruba, redemption gamble
So I am going to Aruba on Easter weekend, 4/14-4/17, and was waiting for the new Hilton points program to take effect. The HILTON ARUBA CARIBBEAN RESORT & CASINO had openings over the past few days and now as the new program drops, they do not. I was hoping to use my 2 free weekend night certs with points to get my 3 nights, but now I cannot even get a room. Called the hotel and they said check back for possible cancellations. Now I am in a pickle as I am less than 2 months out and during peak season. I can book at the Marriot Renaissance, but I would have to transfer my SPG points. Obviously I would lose some redemption value. Do I gamble and wait, hoping the Hilton opens up, or do I book with Marriot and lose value on my star points?
Hi all--My Grandma has been going to Aruba for over 40 years. About 16 years ago, after my grandfather passed away, she started taking us women of the family to join us on her time share. I'm looking for some new suggestions of local restaurants for us to try, preferably near to or walking distance to the Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino (that's where we stay). We always go to Que Pasa, The Plaza, Casa Tua, The Driftwood, just to name a few, and have been to Cuba's Cooking, Solamare, LG Smith, and many others.. over 15+ years, we've definitely tried a lot. There are no major dietary restrictions so I would love to hear some places that you all love to go. Thanks!!
